About me

I have over 15 years of experience in the financial sector, across regulation, risk, compliance, and technology-driven innovation. I am currently Group Head at Easebuzz Private Limited,a payment Fintech startup, where I lead Finance, Risk, and Compliance. I am also on the Board of Easebuzz. My focus is to build strong, simple systems that support scale and responsible growth. I also lead Research, Innovation, and New Growth Initiatives. We work on new ideas, partnerships, and future opportunities, while aligning business strategy with emerging technologies.

Before this, I spent 12 years at the Reserve Bank of India. In the FinTech Department, I worked on regulatory and supervisory frameworks for the sector. I was involved in initiatives like the FinTech Repository, EmTech Repository, and the framework for recognising SROs for FinTechs. One of the SupTech projects I worked on was among the top five globally at the Cambridge SupTech Lab challenge and received funding support. Earlier, I worked on regulation of Asset Reconstruction Companies and Mortgage Guarantee Companies, Small Finance Bank licensing, and projects on digitisation and IT security.

I hold an MBA in Finance from IIM Kozhikode and a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication. I was also part of the Innovation Leaders Residency at the Cambridge SupTech Lab. I try to bring a balanced approach—supporting innovation while ensuring strong governance and consumer protection.
